RCCC Bulletin Announcement 3/11/2012

2. The Children’s SS Easter egg hunt falls on the Palm Sunday morning (4/1). Parents, please bring a dozen of Easter eggs and drop them off at the tables across from rooms #150-152 on 3/26. Please make sure that the candies you contribute do not contain peanuts or elements that may cause food allergies. The Children’s SS will supply bags for the egg hunt during the event.

3.  RTP Chinese Evangelistic Rally– Children’s Coworkers   Briefing 3/18 (Sun), 1:15pm #150-152. Children’s coworkers helping out at the RTP Rally at Forest Hills Baptist Church are requested to attend this Briefing Session. The session involves facility maps, children release and pick up procedures, etc. Coworkers will also intercede and pray in groups.

4. The spring quarter adult Sunday School has began on 3/4

5. Our Phase 2 Church Expansion Project is a high point in the life of our church. We face the daunting task of raising $1.7 million. Our pledged amount to date is $904,386. Let’s join our hearts together and pray. Our church council is setting aside two Saturdays for prayer and fasting – March 17 and June 30th (7am to 12 midnight). We are asking brothers and sisters to sign up to pray with us. Our hope is that there will be at least one person praying for our church at all times between 7am and 12 midnight on those days. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer. We hope that this will become a habit of yours – to daily remember our church before Almighty God.

6.  The Fund Giving FAQ is now available to the congregation.

The FAQ intends to answer the Frequently Asked Questions about the pledging for the Phase 2 church expansion. The FAQ is available as an insert in this week’s worship bulletin and is also posted to RCCC church web site for easy access.

7. The 6th Annual RCCC Basketball Tournament is here!  The tournament will be held on successive weeks, with the JV (beginners) division competing on the second Sunday of April (4/8) and the Varsity (advanced) division on the third Sunday of April (4/15). Like last year, the tournament will be 4 on 4 half court and last the entire afternoon. We encourage you to form teams according to fellowship groups.  Please email your team rosters to Peter Lin at chpeterlin (at) gmail.com by April 1.  Please email Peter if you have any questions.  Slots will be limited, sign up fast!

8. The Youth group will be participating in World Vision’s

30 Hour Famine to raise funds for and awareness of world hunger.  If your child would like to participate, please contact Sheree at shereeche (at) gmail.com.  Also, we are in need of chaperones, co-workers and cooks to help out with the March 16th-17th event. Please let us know if you can help!

9. Caring ministry has created a job post to post any job opening referral by brothers and sisters. You can find the  job information on our church website (link) or on the hallway bulletin board. If you know any job opening, please email it to Adam Lau (adam.lau (at) raleighccc.org)

10. Christian Life and Service/skills Seminars will be offered on   Sunday, March 25th. Class locations will be made known in a few weeks.  Both classes will be from 1-4pm

C.L.A.S.S. 101 – Discovering Church Membership

C.L.A.S.S. 201 – Discovering Spiritual Maturity (this deals       with some of the foundational habits of the Christian Life).  However, if you only want to be baptized, CLASS 101 for baptism is from 1-2pm.  If you want to be baptized or become a member of RCCC, it is mandatory that you attend CLASS 101. Please sign up on-line. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, March 21st.

2.  兒童主日學將於4/1舉辦“撿復活節彩蛋”活動。請主日學孩童的家長們每家都至少奉獻一打(12個)復活節彩蛋，並在3/26把它送到#150-152課室前的桌子上。一些巧克力或糖果可能會造成食物過敏，請您選購彩蛋時要特別注意。兒童部將提供撿彩蛋用的紙袋，家長不需另外購買籃子。

3.  北卡三角區華人基督教聯合佈道會- 兒童部同工會議

3/18 (Sun), 1:15pm #150-152請參與此佈道會兒童部

的同工出席此會議。會議內容包括場地簡報、兒童接送

程序等。同工們也會分組禱告。

4.  教會將於復活節有受洗禮。請將要受洗的弟兄姊妹於

三月十一日與十八日兩個主日下午一時至二時在137

教室上洗禮課。

5.我們教會第二期擴建是我們教會歷史中極為重要的事工

我們需要募得款項一百七十萬, 是一項艱巨的任務。

目前為止, 我們收到認獻的金額是九十萬四千三百八十六 元.  讓我們一起同心為建堂事工禱告.  教會議會定了三月十七日及六月三十日（早上七點至午夜十二點）兩個星期六，

為禁食禱告日。我們邀請弟兄姐妹們來登記， 我們一同禱告； 希望從早上七點至午夜十二點之間，每個時段都有至少一位弟兄姐妹為教會擴建事工禱告。  登記表放在教會大廳,  請大家踴躍登記。盼望每日在大能的 神 面前為我們教會代禱，會成為您的好習慣。

6.  教會擴建委員會準備一份第ニ期擴堂認獻常見問題的

解答。 這份常見問題解答附在今天崇拜的夾頁中。

同時也會放在教會網站上供給會眾參考。

7.  這個星期四 (三月十五曰) 上午＋點有長青團契, 請踴 躍 參加.

8.本教會青少年團契將參與“世界宣明會飢饉三十”活動，為受飢餓的人募款 並喚起大眾對世界各地飢餓現象的 關心。您的孩子如果想要參加這項活動，請與Sheree 聯絡（shereeche (at) gmail.com）。活動時間是3月16－17日； 這兩天當中，我們需要家長、同工、“大廚”們的 協助。若是您能夠參與，請與我們聯絡。

11.第六屆洛麗華人基督教會籃球大賽正在積極籌劃當中。比賽日期如下：初級組四月八日（四月的第二個星期天），進階組四月十五日（四月的第三個星期天）。按照去年的辦法，比賽將以四對四、半場的方式舉行，時間是比賽日期當天下午。我們鼓勵大家以小組為單位組隊報名。請將您球隊的球員名單送給林承勳弟兄(Peter Lin)，報名截止日期是四月一日。若有任何疑問，也請以電郵與Peter聯絡(chpeterlin (at) gmail.com)。 預定的隊數有限，請及早報名！

Sister Rae Huang, daughter of members Tai-Nang and Susan Huang, and a ThM student at Duke Divinity School, will be observing and visiting various church activities and talking with select people to gather information for a class assignment. She is taking a course in ethnological anthropology and would like to study the interactions and dynamics of church-body life in a Chinese church.  She may be “interviewing” you about your perspective of body life to gather the needed data to fulfill her assignment. Please welcome her and allot her the time should you be selected.

是杜克神學院的神學碩士生，因為課程作業上的需要，

將觀察和參加不同的教會活動，並採訪某些人，以蒐集

所需的資訊。她目前修習一門民族人類學課程，想要 研究 華人教會中全體的互動與動態情形。她可能會採訪你

對於教會生活的觀點，以便蒐集所需的資料完成其作業。

請大家歡迎她的到訪，若她想採訪你時，也請撥空接受

訪談。

3. The 2012 spring Quarter Teacher’s Guides and Student Workbooks have arrived. Teachers, please collect your materials at the desk across #150-152.

4. The RTP Chinese Evangelistic Rally (3/23-24) anticipates 800 participants. The main target is Chinese-speaking seekers.

It’s a great opportunity for English-speaking believers to offer help esp. w/ the children. We’ll need 17 coworkers on Friday (7:30pm session) and 33 coworkers on Saturday (16 coworkers at 4pm session; 17 coworkers at 7pm session).

This year, RCCC will be partnering with the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) for its third annual food drive with an ongoing church-wide food collection from now until March 3, 2012. More information, including who benefits from the food, what to bring, and logistics of the food drive are posted in the lobby above the collection box. Alternately, online donation is encouraged at,www.foodbankcenc.org where every dollar contributes 2.5 pounds of food. Thank you!

9. 我們教會和華人福音基督教會(CCMC)將於四月份

(二十至廿二曰)聯合舉辦一個由家庭更新協會帶領的

恩愛夫妻營。這個營會採取小班制, 主要的目的是要

幫助夫婦促進溝通, 化解衝突, 增長愛意, 同心同行。

詳細的內容與報名表可在大堂索取. 名額有限, 報名

到 二月底為止。如有問題, 請與劉凱麟 (Adam)弟兄

或陳壽珊 (Susan)姊妹聯絡。

10. 我們教會將與北卡數理高中（NCSSM）合作，贊助該校

第三屆食物捐贈活動. 即日起至2012年三月三日止，

我們會在教會收集不易變質的食物。教會大廳備有食物

收箱，以及相關資料，例如：此項活動所幫助的對象,

適合捐贈的食物、輸送流程等。大家也可以上綱(www.foodbankcenc.org/)捐贈金錢支持這項善舉。

您捐的每一塊錢相當於2.5磅的食物。

11. 本教會會員黃泰然弟兄與陳壽珊姊妹的女兒黃睿姊妹，
